Our beginnings
Founded by a community that wanted to make a practical difference.
A Penny For Nepal was set up in July 2009 by a group of young Nepalis in the UK. From the beginning, the aim was simple: help create better opportunities for children in Nepal through useful, accountable support.
The organisation is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee and is registered with the UK Charity Commission.
